About The NAMFISA Bursary

In line with its commitment towards capacity development and fulfillment of its corporate social responsibility, Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA) is proud to avail bursaries to Namibians who intend to pursue undergraduate studies at recognized universities in Namibia and other countries within the SADC region.

NAMFISA Bursary Eligibility

• Namibian Citizenship
• Provisional acceptance at a recognized tertiary institution as a first-year student in 2025, supported by the 2023/24 grade 12 or AS Level examination results.
• Excellent academic performance.

NAMFISA Bursary Preferred Fields of Study

Your chosen field of study should be in one of the following areas:

• Bachelor of Finance / Quantitative Finance / Financial Technology
• Bachelor of Computer Science (Cyber Security/ Artificial Intelligence/ Data Science)
• Bachelor of Economics (Econometrics / Statistics / Mathematics)
• Bachelor of Education (Mathematics/Sciences)
